Essay 2-3a: “Unpredictable Future University Life and Now”

Do you enjoy your university life? I’ll tell you about my university life now and in 25 years from now. I’m enjoying my university life now. So I’ll tell about that. And I want the university to develop more. So I’ll also tell you about all the things I imagined.

First, I’ll tell you about now university life. And I’ll tell you in terms of learning. I’m learning English in my university. And I interested in different culture between foreign countries. So I took the class which is “different culture understand theory”. There are many countries and religions and cultures. So this class is very interesting for me. Beyond that, I took psychology and environment theory. I’m enjoying learning about that. But In January, I have to take many examinations. It’s so hard but I’ll do my best. Then I’m going to stay with family in Australia. I’m looking forward to go there because I’ve never go abroad. Thus, there are many programs such as studying abroad in my university. I’ll take advantage of there programs.

I’ll tell you in terms of facility. I introduce my favorite place. When I felt hungry, I often go to bakery in 12 building. There are many kind of bread in there. If you go to there at lunch time, you may eat hot breads. And I enjoy talking there with my friends. The 14 building is also my favorite place. There are many computers in there. So when I work on assignment, I’m always in the 14 building. It’s comfortable for me to do assignment there. And I also like library. My university library is very quiet so I can concentrate on doing assignments. And there are many books in English. So I often borrow it to do assignments. They can watch films in library. So when I have no class, I sometimes go to library to watch films.

Second, I’ll tell you about university life in 25 years. And I’ll tell you in terms of learning in 25 years. I imagine most of students are not in university. They can attend a lecture in their house. In other words, they can take a lecture through their monitor. Professors have to record their lecture. And students watch recorded monitor. So they can take a lecture whenever they want to take it. I think that way is very convenience for students and professors. And there isn’t examination. They can get credits if they submit their assignments only.

I’ll tell you in terms of facility in 25 years. I hope that university’s parking area became larger than now. Now we have to pay money to park our car. But in 25 years, we will make use of it for free. And bakery in 25 years will be improved more and more. I imagine students make breads and eat them. Bakery will become self-service bakery! But it is difficult for me to make breads. So a few bread is selling. And there will be student hotel in 25 years. They can stay there and enjoy everything more then now.

Did you enjoy my future university life? This is just imagination. It was fun imagining future university life. But I like my university now. When 25 years passed, I hope I could feel dear my university life and friends.

Winters dessert!

My favorite winter dessert is “Zenzai” This is Japanese dessert. Rice cakes and adzuki beans are in Zenzai. It makes me winters feelings and warm. My mother is good at cooking. So I had her cook Zenzai. It was so delicious. If you have a chance, try to cook Zenzai.

I read this book titled “The Key Cutter’s Grandson” One day, a boy whose name’s Lei was running to his school. So his bag burst open and books spilled over the pavement. When he picked them up, he saw a piece of red and white paper caught under a loose stone. And he got a piece of paper. And then, he brought it to his grandfather’s shop. But his grandpa was working. So he was shouted “What’s wrong with you?” When he went to his room, he opened his hand. It was money! He had never had money so much. So he was imagining all the things I can buy. And he pushed it inside an old sock and stuffed it behind a broken board.

That night, he was thinking about his grandfather. He worked hard every day but they were not rich. When he was small, he wanted to be rich and buy new glasses for his grandpa because his eyes were always red. But he refused to buy new ones.

When he walked home for lunch, he heard a lot of noise ahead in the street. A lade shouted “This key does not work” and the next week, he also was shouted by many customer. When he saw his grandpa, he rubbed his eyes. As time went by, everyone called his grandpa the old key cutter.

The next morning, he decided to buy new glasses for his grandpa. At lunch time, he pulled money from his old sock. At first his grandpa refused to take the money but he took the money finally. He tried on a pair of new glasses and said “I look good, hey, Grandson?” he smiled back. On the way home, his grandpa said to Lei “Thank you, Grandson” This is good story for me.

I’m enjoying my university life. There are many facilities in my university. So I’m having good time in the university. My favorite place is 14 building because there are many computers. It’s convenience for me to do my assignments.I think I’m more enjoying my university life than my high school life. The large difference between high school and university is to decide or not decide own schedule of classes.

I wont be in my university in 25 years. So I will imagine in 25 years. I imagine the university will develop more then now. I imagine the university student in the future will take their lecture at their house. So students wont need to go the university. And I would like the university to make a lot of parking area.

My favorite dish is Okonomiyaki because it was so good and fun making it. When our dinner is Okonomiyaki, I often help my mother to cook it. We put yams in it to enrich the taste. When I was small, I often drew my name on Okonomiyaki with sauce with my sister and brother. And I recommend you have it while it is hot. And I have a favorite Okonomiyaki restaurant. The restaurant located in the city. We have to broil Okonomiyaki by my self in the restaurant. But it is so fun. The restaurant’s staffs are very friendly so I had ice cream serviced. To tell the truth, I have not gone the restaurant recently. So I want to go there before long.

BR 2-11: “The Problem with Cleo”

I read this book titled “The Problem with Cleo” This story is one girl named Cleo’s story. She was cheerful and vigorous. She liked hanging around with the older friends. But older ones didn’t want to play with her. But she looks so funny. One day, one of the older ones had a good idea. The idea was secret room not to make Cleo enter. When they were talking at secret room, it seemed there was someone outside. So Sam opened the door. And Cleo was here! They were very surprised at her. And she ran away suddenly.

One day, a boy named donut found the frilliest little bonnet. And they put it each other and laughed. Several times later, when they were playing, they saw Mrs. Potter come striding down the street with her poodle. Then as soon as she was inside of supermarket, they put bonnet over her dog. When she came out of the supermarket, she stared and stare her dog. And they couldn’t help laughing.

In their classroom, they were talking about unusual duck. It seemed birdwatchers are coming from all over the world. So they decided to watch the duck. When they went to the lake, they had good time to watch many ducks. A few time later, a unusual yallow duck appeared. Everyone said “It’s a bath toy!” “What a brilliant trick!” “Whose idea was it?” Finally, they found Cleo’s idea. And she asked them to join their club. But they didn’t allow yet.

They avoided Cleo because they didn’t like Cleo. So they climb big tree to avoid her. But Cleo followed them. She tried climbing big tree but she didn’t climb and slipped! Cleo was injured. Then they called her mom. When her mom came, Cleo was carried to the hospital. In the hospital, Donut read a book for her because she liked book. They gradually became to get along with her. Finally, they had a good time as friends.

Love eating

Last Saturday, I took TOEIC IP test in the university. I did my best, but I don’t have confidence. After I had finished it, I went to my friend’s house. And we went to the restaurant which name’s “Pomu no ki” to have lunch with my friend. The restaurant located in shopping mall named “Daie” I ordered a W cream omelet containing fried rice. It was so good because I was so hungry. And I had my friend eat her omelet containing fried rice because she was full and I was gluttonous. I want to go there again with friends.

My favorite musical show is “Lion King” I have seen it twice in Fukuoka. When I was a high school student third grade, I first went to see the musical show with my friend. It was so wonderful. So I went to see it again the next year. When I became university student, I went there second time with my friend. In that season, the musical show has concluded its run. So I felt a little sad but I enjoyed seeing it. And a theater hold this musical show has also closed for about a year. But on this month, the musical show’s theater reopened. So I’m going to go to the new theater to see a musical show again.

My favorite travel is Oita trip. There is Oita in Kyusyu. When I was a high school student, I have been to Oita with my family and cousin’s family. First, I went to an aquarium. There is a famous aquarium named “Umitamago” in Oita. There was much kind of fishes. And we could watch dolphin’s show. Then I went to a mountain. There were many monkeys in the mountain. It was scared a little bit. The next day, we went to a wild animal park. It was fun because I could see many wild animals at close range. I wanted to feed them but I couldn’t. it was nice trip so we had a good time. I want there again. If you have a chance to travel to Oita, please visit these places!

I read the book titled “The Clumsy Crocodile” This book is clumsy crocodile whose name is Cassy story. She got a job at big store, so she went there.

First, she was sent to work in the china department. She had sold sixty cups. But she broke them, when she carried the items to customer.

Next, she was sent to the toy department. She didn’t want any more accidents. But when she thought someone could trip over, she put this ball away. Then her tail swung out behind her and broke many toys. I thought she was so kind. But her boss was so angry. She was called by her boss and fired the job. But she asked her boss to give her one more chance and gave one chance.

The next day, she worked hard at home to get a job. On Monday morning, she was the first to arrive in the luxury goods department. And she had to guard luxury instead of security guard. She felt important. She was in charge.

After about sixty minutes, thieves appeared. They tried to get a big jewel but she caught them. She became the hero because she arrested thieves. This story was so interesting for me.

My favorite book is titled “Orange days” This book is young days story. There were three boys and two girls in the story. One girl had poor hearing so she used sign language. When they were fourth grade of university, they got to known each others. Then there were troubles, loves and more among five people. It was so interesting book. When I read this book, I interested in sign language. So I learned sign language by myself. I can introduce my self a little bit by using sign language. Sign language is also interesting for me. And this book became a drama so I had seen all series. It is so interesting book, so if you are interested in this book, please read it!

My favorite sport is table tennis. I belonged to table tennis club when I was elementary school student. So I like playing the table tennis. To tell the truth, I didn’t intend to enter the table tennis club. But I entered the table tennis club because I was recommended my friend to enter it. When I entered the club, I wasn’t interested in table tennis so much. But as I could play the game well, I became to interest it so much. When I won the game, I was the most happy. So I practiced many times to won games. Thanks to that I think my emotional strength was approved. Now there is not opportunity to play table tennis. But if I have a chance, I’m going to try it again.

Essay 2-2b:My three language I've learned

I will tell you about my language learning experience. I have ever learned three languages since I was an elementary student. I like learning languages because I want to speak many languages fluently. Now I am English major. So I will tell you about an opportunity to start each language.

First, I’ll tell you about English. I have been learning for eight years. When I was elementary fifth grade, I started to learn English at ECC junior. ECC junior is English conversation school. My mother made me go the school because there was it near my house. And my mother’s friend taught English in this school. I could learn English pleasantly playing game because there were many events such like Christmas party and Halloween party. We exchanged presents each other.

When I entered junior high school, I started to learn English in earnest. Especially we learned English grammar. The grammar was difficult for me. To tell the truth, I didn’t like learning English very much those days. But when I became to third grade, I met one new English teacher. The teacher’s class was so fun and easy to understand for me. Then I became to like English. In high school’s English class, I liked English conversation class. In the class, we played game and talked to ALT’s teacher. It was so fun.

In university, there are many English classes. There are reading, writing and speaking. I’m always pressed by a lot of assignments.

Next, I’ll tell you about Japanese. I have been learning Japanese as Kokugo since I was an elementary student. I liked learning Kanji. So I took Kanji examination when I was a junior high school student. Kanji is very interesting for me. Each kanji has meaning. But I don’t write Kanji recently. So I am going to take Kanji examination again to approve my Kanji ability. When I entered high school, there was much kind of Japanese classes such as Koten, Kanbun, Gendaibun. Koten was so difficult for me. I studied it hard before examination.

Finally, I’ll tell you about Germany. In university, I had to take Germany as the second foreign language because I was interested in it. So I took it. I thought Germany is very close to English because there are many words that look like English. In the class, we had to listening CD of Germany to approve my listening ability. It was much more difficult then English for me. So I can’t speak Germany fluently. But I became to write a little Germany. I like Germany. I want to travel to German.

I told all of my language learning experience. The language I felt the most difficult is Germany. Do you think that I’ve learned many languages? I don’t think so. If I have a chance, I want to try to learn other language such as Chinese, Korea and so on because I think many Korean and Chinese visit Japan. Especially, I’m interested in Korea so I want to travel there. Thank you for your reading.

My favorite prefecture is Osaka. I have two reasons. I have been there two times. When I was university 1st grade, I have been there first time to attend wedding ceremony of my cousin. I stayed two days in Osaka. On the first day, we went to watch Yoshimoto. It was so fun. There were many comedians I know. Then we ate Takoyaki. It was so good. I ate a lot of it. On second day, we attended cousin’s wedding ceremony. It had good time in Osaka. So I like there. And there is company which I want to enter in Osaka. So I like Osaka. If I have a chance, I want to go there again and go Universal Stadia Japan.

I read this book titled “How Elephants lost their Wings” This story is about flying elephants, two gods, houses, peacocks and banana trees. Once upon a time, elephants could fly. They flew everywhere. Then they broke trees and houses. So gods worried. On day, they invited the elephants to their house. The elephants ate and ate. When they were full, they slept. Then the gods took away their wings and gave them to the peacocks and the banana trees. The elephants had no wings and were angry. So they never flew again. I can’t think elephants fly. When I was small, I often went to zoo. I liked watching elephants because they are big. I thought this story is so fun.

I read this book titled “The Little Giraffe” When I found this book, I interested in this book immediately because I like giraffes so much. This story is about a little giraffe. There were a little giraffe and his best friend called Rhino in east Africa. They were so hungry because there was no food in desert. They always looked for food. One day, a little giraffe went to see the wise man. The wise man said “I’ll make a magic drink for you!” And he gave it to a little giraffe. When a little giraffe drunk it, he grew taller and taller. So he could reach the leaves high in the trees. I thought thanks to the wise man, he could be tall.

I read this book titled “Flogs” This is a story about flogs. I didn’t like flogs before I read this book. But as I read this book, I became to be interested in flogs. I thought there are many kind of flogs and size and color. In deserts, frogs are living under the sand. They only come out when it rains. Most of flogs eat bugs. And some animals eat frogs too. But frogs have tricks to get away. When the animal tried to eat them, the frog makes sticky white goo. It tastes horrible. That way, the frog saves him. There are many how to save them. Some frog pretends to be dead, other frog becomes to be bigger and bigger and bigger! If I find frogs, I will try to look at them.

I read this book titled “Brer Rabit and the Blackberry Bush” This is a story about Brer Rabit, Brer Fox and a prickly blackberry bush. The rabbit and the fox were enemies. I thought they should get along with each other. One day, the fox set a trap. And the rabbit went the trap. The fox wanted to eat the rabbit. So he said to rabbit “I’m going to eat you all up!” But the rabbit looked so fun. So he said again to the rabbit “Do you want to be eaten?” And the rabbit answered “Yes!!” with smiling. If I were the rabbit, I would say “No!! Please don’t eat me! Please!!!” The rabbit had a plan. And then, the fox released the rabbit because the rabbit said to the fox “Eat me!” I thought ill-natured person do things person doesn’t want to be done.

My favorite dessert is a big parfait. I went to sweep shop to eat a big parfait with my friends. There were oranges, ice, pie, grape, fruit, and melon on the parfait. It was so good for me. But I don’t like fresh cream. So I had my friends eat them. We finished eating the big parfait with four friends because it was so big! I like sweet dessert, but I sometimes want to eat salty snacks. After we had finished eating the big parfait, we ate potatoes at Mac. We are fatty! But I prefer sweet dessert to salty one. If I have a chance, I want to make some dessert such as a cake, a cookie. There dessert make me happy.

As I had a little money, I borrowed them and read them at Video shop near my house. In the video shop, we can borrow one comic with 60 yen. It is cheap!

In this story, I like a girl named “Sawako” She is pure and cute girl. I want to be like her. These comic books were released maybe 12 volumes. But I don’t read all of them. I’m looking forward to reading these comic books.

The rabbit said to the lion “There are other lion” I thought the rabbit is clever because other lion was the lion reflected river. But the lion thought other lion. So the lion leaped at other lion in the river. And he was swept away. It is important for all to get along with all.

Essay 2-02a: My three languages I've learned

My favorite drink is oolong tea. To tell the truth, when I was small child, I didn’t like oolong tea so much. But when I entered my university, there were many opportunities to drink oolong tea. So I became to like oolong tea. There are many kind of oolong tea in Japan. I like Suntory’s oolong tea but little expensive. The convenience store named Seven-Eleven’s oolong tea is so cheap. So when I have little money, I always buy one at Seven-Eleven. In my house, we drink oolong tea made by us. It is good oolong tea after part-time job. As you know, oolong tea came from China. But many people including me drink it. Oolong tea is loved all over the world. I swear to love it.

This story is about Sam, some sheep, the villagers and a wolf. I’ve ever heard this story. I thought lying is not good. The boy called Sam always lied to the villagers. So the villagers cannot have believed him. They may have believe him if he lied to them one time only. But he had lied four times! When a wolf actually appeared, nobody believed him and help him. He looked so sad. After all, some sheep were killed by a wolf. That was too bad. I thought I won’t lie to people. But I think there are good lies.

"Essay 2-01b:My Old and Relaxing place"

I’ll tell you about my favorite place. My favorite place is my house. My house has been built about fifty years old. So, it’s very old but it’s comfortable for me. There is my house in rural of Kumamoto. So my house was surrounded with many fields. I’ll talk to you about my family and outside of my house and inside of it.

First, I’ll introduce my family. There are seven people in my family. My father works at a fire station. He’s always busy because he works 24 hours. I respect him. My mother works at make-up store. So, she has many make-up tools. I use her make-up tools every morning. And I have a sister and a brother. Both of them are high school students. She is third grade. This year, she’ll challenge to take entrance examination for university, so she has been preparing for an examination since years ago. She doesn’t decide the school of her preference. But our parents wish she go to a national university. He is first grade. His high school is too far. But he goes to the school by bicycle even when it heavy rains. My grand father and mother stay in the house. But sometimes they work farming.

Second, I’ll tell you about outside of my house. My house looks old but strong. My house is Japanese type, because it with tiles. There is a large garden in my house. There are many trees and flowers. My favorite flower is small tree with pink flower. This tree is same years old to me. It seems that when I birthed, this tree was planted. So I like it. The kind of this tree is a peach tree. So it is pink color. We have a dog, so there is dog’s house in my garden. His name is Rairu and mixed dog. When I was small, we got him from my sister’s friend. His house’ color is light blue. He has been there for about ten years.

Third, I’ll tell you about inside of my house. I like my room because it’s comfortable for me. There is a desk and a computer and a piano and more in my room. When I was small, I share the room with my sister. But now the room has been separated. It is not too narrow. It is comfortable size. And place I like is bath room because I can relax.

I told three reasons about my house. This is why I like my house. My house makes me relaxed. I recommend you. Please come to my house!!

I read this book titled “The Mouse’s Wedding” This story is about father mouse, mother mouse, miss mouse, the sun, a cloud, the wind, a wall, and a handsome young mouse. I thought this story is fun for me. I remembered my mother read me this story when I was small. Usually, we think the sun is most strong. But the sun said a cloud is strong. But a cloud said the wind is strong. But the wind said a wall is strong. Finally a wall said the mouse is strong. It was very interested. If I was a mouse, I would get marry a cat. Because I will not have a natural enemy right?

And I also like other movie. The movie title is “Change Ring” this movie was sad story and truth one. She played mother with strong mind. And she actually is mother. She has many children. I think she is good mother. If I have a chance to go to America , I want to get her sign.

I read “The Magic Pear Tree” This story was about selfish Shen, a hungry beggar, a kind woman, some yummy pears and little bit of magic. I thought Shen was very selfish because he didn’t give pears to a hungry beggar. But I thought that a king woman was so kind of him, because she bought pears for hungry beggar. She is good person. I thought a hungry beggar have should repayment of a kindness for her. When people are eating pears, he disappeared there. So I thought he was strange man. Finally, I’m glad that Shen became to be kind. I thought that kindness is good things.

My favorite music

My favorite music is pop-music. Especially, I like AKB48. AKB48 is girl’s group unit. There are forty-eight girls in this group. And they are divided into three teams: team A, team K, team B. they are so cute! My favorite music’s title is “Namida Sapuraizu” this song is birthday song. When there was my friend’s birthday party, I sang this song. My friend was surprised.

I read this book titled “The story of Toilets, Telephones” I think it is little strange book. This book divided into two sections.

First title is “The story of toilet” Long ago, people didn’t even have house. They roamed the forest, hunting animals and squatting behind a tree. Some built a toilet in the yard, but it was only a hole in the ground. When the hole filled up, they simply covered it with mud and dug another.

The ancient Romans had a much better idea of public toilets. They simply asked a slave to bring in a silver pot and filled it there and then. In later times, people were more shy about there things. Lords and ladies preferred to go alone, using fancy.

By 1880, the toilet had really arrived. Since then, only the shapes and decorations have changed. Today, we take toilets for granted. But spend a day in the woods and you’ll soon learn how things were for our ancestors.

Second title is “Telephones” Alexander Graham Bell was a boy with a mission. When Bell grew up, he got a job teaching deaf people to speak. One day, he played a chord on a piano and heard the exact notes echo on a piano next door. He thought he could send speech from one place to another. In those days, 150 years ago, the quickest way to send messages over long distances was by telegraph. A message was tapped at one end of an electric wire. Today, million of people own mobiles. A phone with no wire would have really impressed Alexander Bell-especially one that can send pictures too.

I read this book titled “Aladdin & His Magical Lamp” I’ve ever watched the movie, but I’ve never read the book. So it was very interesting. The story was divided into seven sections.

There was a lazy boy named Aladdin. One day, the man came up to him. The man said “It’s me, Uncle Abanazar, your father’s long-lost brother!” he didn’t know he had an uncle. But Aladdin and his mother were so happy, because his uncle gave them a job. But neither of them guessed Abanazar was really a wicked magician. The next day, Abanazar took Aladdin on a long walk out of the city. When Abanazar said strange words, a trap door made of stone appeared in the grass. Aladdin was surprised! Abanazar said “Under this stone there are many treasures, but I only want one. Bring me the lamp” and he pushing Aladdin down the steps. There were many treasure on the tree, so he took the treasure. But Abanazar thought he’d been tricked because Aladdin had taken too long finding it. And he was alone.

Aladdin was trapped. Suddenly, a huge man rose up in front of him. The genie said “What can I do for you?” and he could escape from in the dark. When he went home, another genie appeared in front of them. The genie said “I am the genie of the lamp. Your wish is my command” So they said “We are starving” and a huge feast appeared on silver plates. Aladdin sold the silver plates. They became rich.

Early one morning, there was a command from the Sultan. “Princess Badr-al-Budur will go to the public baths today. Everyone must stay at home.” When Aladdin watched princess’s face, he failed in love. She was so beautiful. He decided to marry her. So, his mother went to the castle to offer marrying. Her father was surprised at many jewels. And he said “Your son can marry my daughter in three months’ time,”

Two months later, Aladdin’s mother was in the city. Everyone was talking about a royal wedding. “Princess to marry vizier’s son today!” shouted a herald. His mother thought it was wrong!! At midnight, the genie brought Badr to Aladdin’s house and she said “Help!” He said “I won’t hurt you.” He really wanted to marry her. So he proposed his love. Finally, they married each other. And they were happy forever.

I read this book titled “Rapunzel” It was strange story. There were Mr. And Mrs. Rose in a small house that looked onto a beautiful garden. But they have never entered there because it belonged to a wicked and powerful witch. But lately, she had spent a lot of time thinking about food. She was pregnant so she was hungry.

One day, she said pointing to the witch’s garden. “That vegetable looks so green and juicy. I must have it!” But there was it in the witch’s garden so he couldn’t get it. But “If I don’t have that plant, I’ll die” said Mrs. Rose and she began to cry. So Mr. Rose decided to go to the witch’s garden.

After three hours of sobbing, Mr. Rose crept into the witch’s garden. When he arrived at the garden, he couldn’t choose which one she wants so he grabbed the nearest vegetable. When he backed home, she was angry because it was wrong vegetable. So he pulled it out of the ground and he crept to the witch’s garden again. When he looked up, the witch was in front of him. He screamed. “How dare you steal my rapunzel?” the witch cried. And she hissed “I’ll eat you alive” So he said “I was taking it for my wife. She’s about to have a baby” And the witch said “I’ll make a deal with you. I won’t kill you and you can have as much rapunzel as you like......but you must give me the baby as soon as it’s born.” Mr. Rose was so terrified, but he agreed. As soon as his wife gave birth to their daughter, the witch took their baby and vanished.

Rapunzel lived with the witch for eleven years. She was treated like slave. She’s getting too pretty so the witch thought that I’ll have to lock her away. The witch left her in the small room of tall tower. She was so bored because four years went by. One day, a young man and handsome prince rode through the forest. When she watched him, she cried “Help!” the prince aware her. “Don’t worry” he said. But there was no door, so he climbed up with her hair. He suggested she cut her hair, but she wouldn’t that.

As the weeks passed, the witch came to her tower and the witch said “Let down your hair. I have some food for you.” When the witch climbed with her hair, Rapunzel told the witch about prince. So the witch was very angry about that. So the witch cut her hair and cast Rapunzel into the desert. When the prince saw the witch, he was pained by her. But he decided to look for Rapunzel. Prince Hans wandered for months seeking Rapunzel. He had been seeking her, so he found her in desert. And he said “I never thought I’d say this to a girl named after a vegetable, but will you marry me?” And Rapunzel said “Oh yes!” he took her to his castle. And she could meet her parents.

So he said to a retainer “Go and find me the finest clothes-makers in town”

When a retainer was looking for finest clothes-makers, two strangers rushed up to him. They said “We are the finest clothes-makers in the world” So he took them to the emperor at once. When they arrived at the palace, they met the emperor and said “We make magical clothes!” They said that magical suit can only be seen by clever people. So the emperor wanted that suit and he gave much money to them to make a magical suit.

As soon as they were alone, they laughed until their bellies ached and their faces turned purple and they always ate cake. The emperor couldn’t wait magical suit so he called for their room at work. He wore magical suit but we couldn’t see. But the emperor was satisfied with the magical suit.

Next day, the royal procession started. The emperor walked on the street wearing the magical suit. People were surprised at figure of the emperor. One child said that the emperor’s got nothing on! When the emperor heard that, he was suddenly shyly. “I’m naked!!” Meanwhile, they were packing their bags full of money, getting ready to flee the palace forever.

I read the book titled “storied of Mermaids” this book was divided into two stories. First, I tell you first story.

There was a mermaid named Harmony at the very bottom of the ocean. She lived with her mother and was good at singing. One day, her mother was covered in blue spots and her tongue had turned purple. She was sick, so Harmony went to the spooky place to find cure. After that she found out the cure. Suddenly, a terrifying figure appeared from nowhere. That was the ghost! She didn’t steal his treasure, but he grabbed her roughly and locked her in a cabin. She was so poor. She worried about her mother, so she sung a sing thinking her mother everyday. As each day passed, he began to feel as sorry for Harmony as a tough old pirate can. After all, he allowed her. She went home right now. I thought the ghost was kind. Thanks to the ghost, harmony and her mother were happy in their life forever.

Second story’s title is “The missing pearl” There was a girl named Marina. She looked at the giant pearl. It was so beautiful thing she had ever seen. According to legend, anyone who owned the pearl would never grow old and could swim the oceans forever. And the magical pearl was first prize in King Neptune’s Great Seahorse Race. She decided to participate in the race. There was bad girl. Next morning, the event started. The bad girl disturbed Marina. But, she won! She gave pearl by the king.

She left home. There was wolf in the woods. He wanted to eat her, but he could not. He decided to make a detour. And, he went to her grandmother’s house. There was her weak grandmother in the bed. He was so hungry, so he ate her grandmother.
After that she arrived at her grandmother’s house, she also was eaten by the wolf. The wolf snored very loudly, so the woodcutter noticed that. He cut the wolf’s abdomen. The little girl and her grandmother were helped by the woodcutter. And, he put many stone in the wolf’s abdomen. So, the wolf was suffering.

Third story is “Attack of the swamp monster” when he was going home, the monster made from green appeared. He was surprised at the monster, so he spilled out his water. The monster weaker a water, so the monster was dead.

I read “The Fairground Ghost” It seemed to be scare, but it was interesting. This story is...One day; a boy named Jake saw a poster on his way to school. He wanted to go to the fair, but there was no person to go with him. He asked his sister to take him. Finally, he went to the fair with his sister and his sister’s boyfriend. There was attraction called “Tunnel of Love” so, his sister and his sister‘s boyfriend went into there. He was bored, so he rode the ghost train. The train was in darkness. He was delighted. It was so scary. He did not see what was lurking behind him. Then the train went around the final bend and out popped a little ghost. But a little ghost was not scary. When he left the train, he saw a ghost inspector. And, he tested a little ghost. I thought the ghost test is so fun. The little ghost was got out! But he helped a little ghost to become to be scary. I searched Jazz music. I like music, so I interested in that. Especially, I searched for history of jazz, kind of instrument and movie about jazz. I belonged to a brass band in junior high school and high school. And, I have a friend who likes jazz music very well, so I became to like jazz music and I became to want to know more about jazz music.

First, I searched for history of jazz music. Jazz music was born in the New Orleans. It is a hundred years that jazz music was born. In nineteen century, blacks worked in the farm as a slave in America. Then, blacks who finished extremely hard labor expressed their agony and their sorrow with their songs. That is the early blues. Those days, Jazz for blacks’ entertainment spread various city. Then Chicago became to be the second city for jazz. It was 1920 that jazz music became to be popularity in the New York. Jazz music in the New Orleans stopped developing by and by. Then, all jazz music of swing, modern jazz, free jazz, fusion, hip hop, main street jazz developed around the New York City.

Second, I introduce my favorite movie about jazz music. The film name is “Swing Girls” I like this movie, because we can understand pleasure of jazz music. This is the story that girls were charmed by jazz music. In the country high school, some woman student began to do big band to play truant. Then they were charmed by jazz music. But there was no place to practice! They were in trouble, but they overcame the trouble. It is interesting film. Especially, their dialect is so fun. I recommend you this film!

Third, I introduce kind of jazz music instrument. There are many kind of jazz music instrument. Generally, it is used that trumpet, sax, organ, base, drum, trombone, cornet, vibraphone, guitar, piano, flute, clarinet, violin. Each instrument is important which has a important part.

Finally, I want to tell you charm of jazz music. I think the music makes us happy. The music power is dazzling, because it is used as a cure. So, we should listen to music. That way, I like jazz music very well!! And, my favorite music’s title is “sing sing sing” It is very good music. When I was high school student, I played the trombone. But these days, I have not played it. I want to play!! But, I have no trombone…

BR 1-05 The Frog Prince

“Princess Poppy really doesn’t want to marry Prince Humperdink. She is hoping a handsome prince will come and rescue her. Instead she ends up with a slimy frog - but might there be more to this frog than meets the eye?”
I thought she really didn’t want to marry Prince Humperdink, because she said “I would rather eat my toenails.” She ran down the path to the palace pond, throwing and catching her ball as she went. She was so cross, she didn’t see the wobbly stone. And, she slipped and fell……face first into the pond!! Her beautiful golden ball flew out of her hands. But, the frog rose out of the pond. Above his head, he held the golden ball. I thought the frog was so kind. But she promised the frog. When she arrived at her castle, she had a sinking feeling. There was the frog!! As soon as she opened the door, the frog shot inside. The frog dived into her bowl. That way, she strobe over to the frog, picked him up and threw him out of her window. Outside, the frog was lying sprawled on the palace lawn. “I didn’t mean to hurt you,” said Poppy. “I’m so sorry.” And she bent down and kissed him. Then, the frog had vanished. There was a handsome young prince. He said, “…Princess Poppy, will you marry me?” “I will,” said Poppy. And she did!!!

When Jack sells the family cow for five dried beans, his mother is furious. But overnight the beans sprout into a giant beanstalk. Join Jack as he climbs the stalk… and discovers a dangerous world above the clouds.
Jack was very very hunger, so he sold family cow for sale. And, he was given five dried beans. I thought he was brave, because it is family cow. His mother was very angry. But next day, when he woke up, his room was still dark. “Strange…” He thought, and went to the window. A thick curtain of leaves blocked out the sun. It was amazing!! I was surprised at climbing his beanstalk. At last, Jack’s hair brushed a soft, fluffy cloud. There was a castle above the clouds. In the castle, He met many people who are a woman, a giant, a fairy. And he was given a chicken which can birth gold eggs. That way, he became to be a rich man. I envy him!!
